Jessica Bachay works with Microfinance Opportunities’ consumer research team, providing project support and planning. She also manages the organization’s Financial Diaries database.

Previously, Jessica worked as a research assistant at St. Thomas University in Miami, studying Latin American political systems, and as a graduate assistant for the University of Florida’s Center for Latin American Studies. She also spent a summer working as an intern with the U.S. Department of Commerce in Mexico City, and was an AmeriCorps VISTA intern with ACCION USA in 2004.

Jessica holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Smith College, and a Master of Arts degree in Latin American studies from the University of Florida.
